$2,000.00 + GST – all Local Courts in the Sydney CBD and metropolitan and outer metropolitan area, bounded by Hornsby, Penrith, Campbelltown and Wollongong. This fixed fee includes all work up to and including one day in Court. Most Pleas of Guilty matters are completed in one Court day. If your case goes beyond one day in Court, there will be an additional $950.00 + GST for all work up to and including each additional day of Court time that may be required.

$2,000.00 + GST – all Local Courts in the Sydney CBD and metropolitan and outer metropolitan area, bounded by Hornsby, Penrith, Campbelltown and Wollongong. This fixed fee includes all work up to and including one day in Court.

Almost all Driver Licence Appeals are completed in one Court day. If your case goes beyond one day in Court, there will be an additional $750.00 + GST for all work up to and including each additional day of Court time that may be required.

$4,700.00 + GST – all Local Courts in the Sydney CBD and metropolitan and outer metropolitan area, bounded by Hornsby, Penrith, Campbelltown and Wollongong. This fixed fee includes all work up to and including two days in Court, being the First Mention date and the Hearing Date. This fee will cover all conferences and preparations for the Defended Hearing. Some Defended Hearings take up more than one Court hearing day. This is sometimes apparent from the outset, but sometimes there are unforeseen delays. We will explain these possibilities to you at our first conference. If additional hearing days are required, there will be additional fees for each additional hearing day which we will discuss with you at the first conference, and will fully disclose to you in the Costs Agreement which we will give you. The fee for each additional hearing day will depend to some extent on the type of matter, but the fee will generally be fixed at between $1,500.00 + GST and $2,300.00 + GST.

$3,600.00 + GST – all Local Courts in the Sydney CBD and metropolitan and outer metropolitan area, bounded by Hornsby, Penrith, Campbelltown and Wollongong. This fixed fee includes all work up to and including one day in Court. In the event that more than one hearing day is required, there will be an additional fee of $1,000.00 plus GST.

Are you eligible for a Mental Health, or Section 32 or Section 14 Application? If you suffer from a mental illness or mental condition of any type, you may meet the criteria for possibly being dealt with under the Mental Health (Forensic Provisions) Act instead of according to law.

$2,000.00 + GST – to ask for Section 10, a plea of guilty (or finding of guilt) is necessary. Criminal Lawyers Sydney and Suburbs’ Fixed Fees for Section 10 requests are therefore the same as for all Pleas of Guilty matters. The Section 10 fixed fees are available in all Local Courts in the Sydney CBD and metropolitan and outer metropolitan area, bounded by Hornsby, Penrith, Campbelltown and Wollongong. This fixed fee includes all work up to and including one day in Court. Most Section 10 matters are completed in one Court day. If your case goes beyond one day in Court, there will be an additional $950.00 + GST for all work up to and including each additional day of Court time that may be required.

$2,500.00 + GST – all Local Courts and District Courts in the Sydney CBD and metropolitan and outer metropolitan area, bounded by Hornsby, Penrith, Campbelltown and Wollongong. This fixed fee includes all work up to and including one day in Court. Almost all Bail Applications are completed in one Court day. If your case goes beyond one day in Court, there will be an additional $1,000.00 + GST for all work up to and including each additional day of Court time that may be required.

$3,800.00 + GST – Supreme Court Sydney. This fixed fee includes all work including any necessary prison visit or other conferences, preparing and filing any necessary Affidavits and other required documents, and up to two Court appearances (including any First Mention date). Most Supreme Court Bail applications are completed in one Court day (excluding any First Mention date). If your application goes beyond one day in Court, the fee for each additional Court day will depend to some extent on whether any significant further evidence needs to be prepared, but the fee per additional day will generally be fixed at between $1,200.00 + GST and $1,800.00 + GST.

$600.00 + GST – anywhere within the Sydney metropolitan area, including Metropolitan Remand and Reception Centre (MRRC), Silverwater Correctional Centre, Mulawa – Silverwater Women’s Correctional Centre, Dilwynia Women’s Correctional Centre, Parklea Correctional Centre, John Morony Correctional Centre, Long Bay Correctional Centre, as well as Juvenile Detention Centres, whether in person or via AVL.

$600.00 + GST – anywhere within the Sydney metropolitan area.

$2,000.00 + GST – Severity Appeals – all work up to and including one day in Court in all District Courts in the Sydney CBD and metropolitan and outer metropolitan area, including Sydney, Parramatta, Campbelltown, Penrith and Wollongong.

$3,000.00 + GST – Severity Appeals if the Local Court sentence was one of full time imprisonment. Again, this includes all work up to and including one day in Court in all District Courts in the Sydney CBD and metropolitan and outer metropolitan area, including Sydney, Parramatta, Campbelltown, Penrith and Wollongong. Many Severity Appeals are completed in one Court day. If your case goes beyond one day in Court, there will be an additional $1,200.00 + GST for all work up to and including each additional day of Court time that may be required.

$4,000.00 + GST – All Grounds Appeals (Conviction Appeal or Conviction and Severity Appeal or Appeals Against AVO) – all work up to and including one First Mention day and one day in Court for the hearing of the Appeal in all District Courts in the Sydney CBD and metropolitan and outer metropolitan area, including Sydney, Parramatta, Campbelltown, Penrith and Wollongong. Many All Grounds Appeals are completed in one Court day (excluding the First Mention date). If your case goes beyond one hearing day in Court, there will be an additional $1,200.00 + GST for all work up to and including each additional day of Court time that may be required.

There are complex matters that involve lengthy trials in the District or Supreme Courts, and such matters need to be assessed by us and discussed with you, before agreeing on how our fees will be charged.
